Our client is a reputable water treatment/hygiene company providing specialist services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a hard-working and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Oxford area. The successful applicant will come from a strong water treatment background and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. Applications from Swindon, Reading, Basingstoke, Bicester, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will hold the City and Guilds or WMS Legionella risk assessment course.
Must have a proven track record working as a legionella risk assessor within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
Good communication skills.
Excellent working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Undertake monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Writing up accurate reports and attending meetings where required.
Liaising with the company’s large portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
