Job Description

Due to continued success, this established name within the industry is currently hoping to recruit a hard-working, reliable and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Brentwood area. The successful postholder will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments on various site types. Applications from Basildon, Grays, Brentwood, Wickford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience working as a legionella risk assessor.
Good working knowledge of the water hygiene/treatment industry.
Will have attended an approved Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds or have had internal training courses.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
IT literate – proficiency using MS Office.

Duties within the role:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8.
Producing schematic drawings and final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
Tank cleans and general water hygiene duties.
Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Surveying of water systems and supplies.
Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.
