A valuable opportunity has arisen within a notable water management company who deliver professional water hygiene and legionella services to clients across the UK. The company is currently recruiting for a hardworking and committed Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team based in and area Sheffield area. The successful postholder in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from Huddersfield, Wakefield, Worksop, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant must have attended the Legionella Risk Assessment course – City and Guilds or alternatively have had internal training courses.
Must come from a good educational and technical background.
Must have significant and varied experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Duties of the role:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Producing detailed reports.
Consulting with clients on findings within the reports.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Attending meetings as required.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.

Overall, the successful individual will be an all-rounder, versatile, flexible, have good work ethos and at the same time work on own initiative and carry out risk assessments accurately and within time scale.
