Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Enfield, Hertfordshire
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee LEV Engineer through to Lead LEV Engineer

Profile: Our client is a well-known, privately owned LEV Business who carry out servicing, installation and maintenance of Dust & Fume extract units across the UK for Manufacturing, and Heavy Industry Clients. They are now looking to appoint a P601 qualified, and LEV Engineer based in and around the Enfield area. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience carrying out LEV COSHH testing of Extraction Systems, as well as general maintenance and servicing through to some smaller repairs and remedials. For the successful candidate, our client can offer good work / life balance, company van with personal use, competitive overtime rates and further training alongside scope for P602 training.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the BOHS P601 Qualification.
” Will have extensive knowledge of the LEV industry, ideally working for an established LEV company.
” Experience carrying out Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 fume cupboard examinations would be desirable but not essential.
” Must have excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships with clients.
” Experience in using PDA System / Internal company databases.
The Role:
Carrying out day to day duties such as:
o Carrying out LEV Testing on Dust/ Fume extraction systems, ensuring they comply with HSG258 and COSHH standards..
o General Maintenance, Fan/ Filter Changes and basic Remedials.
– Carrying out site visits in line with company / client requirements.
– Providing clients with technical advice, advising on further works needed and completing detailed reports.
– Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Guidelines.
– Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients and site contacts.
