Job Title: LEV Engineer.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £38k + Training + Benefits

Leading extraction company able to offer turnkey services from initial design and install through to annual testing and maintenance. Due to client demand they now require an experienced P601 LEV Engineer in the Midlands, able to cover heavy industry, education and manufacturing sites, carrying out testing on dust extraction systems and fume cupboards; producing reports and suggesting remedial actions. In return the client can offer attractive salary and overtime rates, company van, PPE, phone and equipment.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Tamworth, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull, Worcester, Warwick, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the P601 is essential to the role.
” Will have hands on experience working as an engineer within the dust / fume industry.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” IT Literate.
” Excellent working knowledge of HSG 258 guidelines.

The Role:
” Inspecting fume cupboards, dust, and fume extraction systems.
” Carrying out fan and filter changes when required.
” Testing emissions, carrying out reviews and approving assessments.
” Liaising with clients to provide excellent technical advice.
” General machinery maintenance. (beneficial)
” Ensuring work complies with HSG 258 guidelines.
” Advising on further work to be carried out.
” Producing excellent technical reports using information from site.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
