Job Description
Job Title: LEV Installation / Service Engineer.
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £48k + Training + Benefits
We are working with a highly respected Clean Air company with a leading presence in the Yorkshire / Midlands region. Due to gaining new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a LEV Install / Service Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of sites in line with relevant health and safety guidelines and client requirements. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must hold the BOHS P601 qualification and will have extensive experience and knowledge working within the Clean Air industry.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Wakefield, Bradford, Keighley, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Matlock, Mansfield, Worksop, Alfreton, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Beeston, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Corby.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the BOHS P601 is essential to the role.
” Will have experience carrying out LEV / Clean Air services for a reputable company.
” Holding the 17th / 18th electrical edition or mechanical engineering qualification would be beneficial.
” Excellent knowledge of relevant Health & Safety guidelines.
” Able to work well independently.
” Excellent organisational skills.
The Role:
” Constructing and installing LEV systems and ductwork across a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Testing LEV systems, including dust & fume, oil mist & fume cupboards.
” Installing PVC and polypropylene ducting and welding.
” Scheduling preventive and reactive maintained on class 1 & 2 safety cabinets.
” Ensuring all equipment is installed, commissioned, maintained, and repaired in line with manufacturing requirements.
” Providing demonstrations to clients of how to use systems.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant HSG guidelines.
” Carrying out risk assessments on site.
” Producing detailed site-specific reports on site.
