Job Title: LEV / Ventilation Service Engineer
Location: Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee LEV / Ventilation Service Engineer through to Lead LEV / Ventilation Service Engineer
Our client who is a leading clean air company with a national presence are now looking to employ a hardworking and P601 qualified LEV / Ventilation Service Engineer to work on Healthcare and Pharmecutical sites across the North West. The successful candidate will carry out Local Exhaust Ventilation testing, testing pharmaceutical isolators, ventilation cleans and maintenance on air handling units and HEPA filter changing. Due to the nature of the role / company, the successful candidate must hold a full licence and be happy to travel nationally.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the P601 qualification – Holding the P602 would be adventurous but not essential.
” Will have previous / current experience working hands on as an LEV / Ventilation engineer.
” Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Competent in using IT, internal / external databases.
” Experience carrying out DOP testing would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant CoSHH / HSG 258 Legislations.
The Role:
” Working across Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sites, carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation testing (LEV), Validation, Emissions testing, and air quality testing.
” Undertaking Laminar flow cabinets and downflow booths.
” Undertaking testing on pharmaceutical isolators.
” Carrying out Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 fume cupboard examinations.
” Carrying out maintenance on air handling units, and HEPA filter changing.
” Ventilation cleans.
” Cleaning and disinfection on duct work.
” Undertaking cleaning of kitchen extracts.
” Writing detailed reports for clients using internal / external systems.
” Liaising with clients, providing technical support and advice when needed.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant CoSHH / HSG 258 guidelines.
