Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Greater Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Occupational Hygienist through to Lead Occupational Hygiene Consultant

Profile: Renowned player in the Environmental and Compliance industries is recruiting an experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultant. Ideally applicants should hold at least 1-2 BOHS modules and be confident in carrying out LEV and/ or various forms of workplace monitoring, however the client is known for their excellent commitment to training, and can offer further funded course training and on site coaching. You will be tasked with covering various heavy industry, manufacturing and production sites, carrying out Workplace Air Monitoring, Workplace Noise Assessments, Dust/ HAV Assessments and Indoor Air Quality Testing. Regular pay reviews after each module course completion, company car and good benefits await the successful candidate.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working for an Occupational Hygiene company is essential to the role.
” Practical experience working on a varied client base.
” Will hold at minimum 1-2 BOHS modules (W501, W503, W505, P601 etc) related to Occupational Hygiene.
” Will be able to manage workload in line with company and client needs.
” Able to communicate efficiently.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.

The Role:
” Managing own schedule, effectively splitting time out on site and at home to write reports.
” Working on heavy industry sites across the UK; conducting workplace air monitoring, noise, dust and HAV assessments.
” Carrying out IAQ testing.
” Undertaking LEV testing of dust and fume extract systems in line with HSG258.
” Producing technical reports to clients and providing advice on test findings and risk level.
