Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant.
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £50k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a renowned player within the Occupational Hygiene / Health and Safety industry, holding a strong presence in the South of England. Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an Occupational Hygiene Consultant. This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience within the industry, who is looking to join a forward thinking and rapidly expanding Occupational Hygiene / Health and Safety Consultancy. You will be covering Commercial and Industrial site bases, carrying out COSHH assessments, noise, fume, and local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and producing detailed technical reports for clients.
Successful candidate will ideally have good access to Home Counties / London and the following: Stevenage, Hertford, St Albans, Cheshunt, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Bishop’s Stortford, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Watford, Oxford, High Wycombe, Bicester, Banbury, Witney, Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Bedford, Cambridge, Huntingdon.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Ideally holding at minimum of 1-2 BOHS modules (W201, W501, W502, W503) related to Occupational Hygiene.
” Holding the BOHS P600, P601, P602 would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Will have experience working within a Health and Safety / Occupational Hygiene Consultancy.
” Will ideally be degree educated.
” Excellent communication and time management skills.
The Role:
” Carrying out a range of occupational hygiene duties including but not limited to air monitoring, COSHH assessments, fume, noise, dust, HVAS, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination, indoor air quality and Legionella.
” Working on Commercial and Industrial sites.
” Emissions testing.
” Undertaking site assessments.
” Ensuring that all test results are recorded accurately to producing detailed technical reports for clients.
” Delivering training sessions and toolbox talks in line with client needs.
” Liaising with clients, providing continuous support and excellent technical and consultancy advice.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant HSG guidelines.
” Attending meetings in line with client needs, ensuring to represent the company in a professional manner.
” Undertaking training in line with company needs, ensuring that technical knowledge is up to date.
