Job Title: Occupational Hygienist
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £30k – 40k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Occupational Hygienist through to Occupational Hygienist

Profile: Our client is well established within the environmental and health and safety industry, who provide a wide range of services to a mixed range of clients. Due to an increase of works, they are now looking to take on a keen Occupational Hygienist based in the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will hold one or more of the occupational hygiene modules and have extensive experience undertaking workplace assessments, air monitoring, COSHH Assessment and testing indoor air quality.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Extensive experience in an occupational hygiene role.
” Will be a qualified occupational hygienist holding the BIOH/IOA or equivalent.
” Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
” Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
” Undertaking various occupational hygiene projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality and legionella.
” Undertaking Emissions Testing.
” Carrying out site assessments as and when required.
” Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
” Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.
” Managing projects/accounts effectively.
