Job Title: Occupational Hygienist
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £25k – £40k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Occupational Hygienist through to Lead Occupational Hygienist

Profile: An exciting opportunity with a multidiscipline UKAS accredited company has arisen for an Occupational Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, self-motivated, and diligent and will have extensive experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites undertaking various workplace assessments i.e., air monitoring, COSHH Assessments, hand-arm vibration surveys and examination and testing of indoor air quality. For the right candidate this client can also offer further module training, and excellent company bonuses, generous pension contributions, and holiday allowance.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Proven track record of working within the Environmental Industry, ideally working as an Occupational Hygienist.
” Will be a qualified Occupational Hygienist, holding the BOHS qualifications.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Strong communication and organisational skills.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out workplace assessments as follows: air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fume, dust, hand-arm vibration surveys, Local Exhaust Ventilation LEV), examination and testing of indoor air quality, legionella, and emissions testing.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety and MCERT standards.
” Undertaking on site assessments in line with client needs.
” Undertaking management of accounts and projects, ensuring they run efficiently.
” Producing clients with high quality and detailed technical reports.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
