Job Title: Pre-commissioning Engineer
Location: Crawley, Surrey.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We have a longstanding Water Treatment / Commissioning company with a strong presence in the South of England who are now looking to recruit a Pre-commissioning Engineer. The client calls for an Engineer with established experience carrying out BSRIA flushing on new and existing sites, meeting client requirements and exceeding expectations. In return the client can offer a good work/ life balance and the opportunity for regular weekend overtime paid at an attractive rate.
Successful candidate will have good access to South Central / M4 and surrounding areas: Epsom, Reigate, Guildford, Woking, Haslemere, Horsham, Uckfield, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Alton, Windsor, Reading, Slough, Newbyry, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Bath, Bristol, Trowbridge, Cirencester, Stroud, Gloucester, Warminster, Andover.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will be experienced working within a Water Treatment / Commissioning company.
” Extensive knowledge of BSRIA guidelines.
” Familiar updating onsite logbooks.
” Able to work to deadlines.
” Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Carrying out pre-commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW and CHW systems.
” Carrying out flushing of primary / secondary systems and fan coil units.
” Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with BSRIA guidelines.
” Chemical dosing of systems using biocides and inhibitors.
” Injections on cold and hot water systems.
” CWST cleans and chlorination.
” Carrying out backflushing and power flushing of systems.
” Setting of TMV’s.
” Checking water flow rates and velocities.
” Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date.
” Professionally liaising with clients, providing support and advice.
