Job Title: Pre-commissioning Engineer (Water Treatment)
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary: £24k – £45k + Company Vehicle + Training

Specialist Water Treatment company are currently recruiting for an experienced Pre-commissioning Engineer to join their Southern Office. You will be working across Commercial and Industrial sites, undertaking pre-commission cleans and flushing duties to new and existing water systems. Previous experience working within a flushing engineer role is desirable, however, the client is happy to receive CVs from mouldable Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineers, who are looking to gain further industry skills. The role would suit engineers who are looking to gain a better work life balance, as the client is offering regional work scheduled Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be traveling across the South West and will have good access to M4 / M5 region and consideration will be given to the following areas: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Glastonbury, Bridgewater, Taunton, Bath, Swindon, Devizes, Trowbridge, Frome, Salisbury, Warminster, Newport, Swansea, Cardiff.

Experience
– Understanding of Pre-commission cleans and BSRIA standards.
– Confident in interpreting site drawings and plans.
– Hands on experience working as a Flushing / Pre-commissioning Engineer.
– Willingness to travel.

Role Will Encompass:
– Travelling across the South West, providing hands on pre-commissioning and flushing duties to various sites; including Office Blocks, Fit Outs, Hospitals and Existing Builds.
– Following company procedure in setting up and undertaking the flushing of Hot and Cold-Water systems via mains system pumps or temporary flushing rigs.
– Backflushing and power flushing of systems.
– Working closely with commissioning engineers to obtain flow rates and velocities.
– Undertaking flushing of closed loop systems.
– Carrying out all works to BSRIA BG 29 guidelines.
– Using specialised software to compile test sheets and reports.
– Carrying out cleans & disinfections.
– Pipework chlorination and tank cleans.
– Liaising with clients and build long-term meaningful relationships.
