Job Title: Remedial Plumber
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Remedial Plumber through to Lead Remedial Plumber

Profile: An established Water Hygiene / Legionella company who provide the full range of Water Hygiene duties to Healthcare, Industrial and High security sites across the UK are now seeking to take on a hard working and City and Guilds qualified Remedial Plumber based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will be experienced carrying out installation and re-routing copper and PVC pipework, deadleg removals and TMV servicing and installs.

Applications will be considered from: Edinburgh, Livingstone, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Sterling, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Lanark.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ (L2/L3) in plumbing and will ideally hold the G3 unvented Certifiate.
” Will have hands on experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry as a plumber.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of the HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication skills.
” Confident in using handheld PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out the full range of plumbing services in line with the company’s high standards.
” Deadleg removals and installing and re-routing copper and PVC pipework.
” Carrying out CWST refurbishments and installs.
” Undertaking TMV servicing and installs.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Carrying out checks on all plumbing work and signing off upon completion.
” Carrying out servicing and installs on cylinders if G3 certificate is held.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed reports for clients.
