Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Leicester, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Well established provider of Clean Air services are now seeking to take on a Validation Engineer to cover contracts across the Midlands region. You will be working on predominantly Healthcare sites, working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines, carrying out testing on critical ventilation systems, testing of DOP and HEPA filters, and re-balancing air flow in line with client requirements. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively / work nights / weekends in line with company and client needs.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold up to date and relevant competent person/ authorised person training.
” BOHS P601 qualification would be beneficial to the role.
” Experience working for an established Clean Air company, working hands on as a Validation Engineer.
” Good IT skills.
” Able to communicate efficiently and organise workload in line with company and client needs.
” Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / HTM 03-01 guidelines.

The Role:
” Working on predominantly Healthcare sites to carry out testing on critical ventilation systems, ensuring to correctly validate and verity the systems in line with industry and manufacturer regulations.
” Auditing air handling units (AHUs).
” Testing of DOP and HEPA filters.
” Re-balancing air flow.
” Measuring of air flow and pressure.
” Microbiological air sampling & environmental measurements.
” Ensuring to keep equipment well maintained, arranging repairs and calibrations when required.
” Using site findings to produce detailed reports.
” Carrying out work in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and advice, representing the company professionally.
