Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £21k – £34k + Vehicle + Benefits

We currently have a vacancy for a driven Water Hygiene Engineer to work across the South West region. The successful candidate will be joining a market leading Water Treatment company delivering a range of legionella monitoring and water hygiene duties to the company’s longstanding clients. The company deliver a diverse range of Water Treatment, Legionella and Water Hygiene services and as such can provide applicants ample opportunities to cross train into more technical water treatment duties or legionella risk assessing.

This is a mobile role open to applicants based in areas with good access to the South West / M4. Consideration will be given to candidates from – Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Swindon, Trowbridge, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgwater, Taunton, Warminster, Sailsbury, and the surrounding area.

Requirements:
– Working knowledge of both hot and cold-water systems.
– Experience working within a Water Hygiene / Environmental Service Technician role.
– Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of L8 & HSG guidelines.
– Flexible and happy to travel in line with the company’s needs.

Role & Responsibilities:
– Collecting microbiological sampling for analysis.
– Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.
– TMV servicing, fail safe testing and calibration.
– Tank inspections and cleans.
– Flushing of small outlets.
– Showerhead cleaning and disinfections.
– Updating onsite logbooks to ensure compliance.
– Representing the company to clients in a professional manner.
