Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: This client is a rapidly growing Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who has recently acquired more contracts and are seeking to recruit a hardworking and ambitious Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Watford area. The successful Engineer will be working on a portfolio of Local Authority contracts; carrying out cleans and disinfections on hot and cold-water systems, chemical cleans and sampling on closed systems, alongside TMV servicing and Showerhead descales. This would be a good opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to cut down travel and gain a better work/ life balance, as the client can offer local based work, with jobs usually scheduled within a one hour radius

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have hands on experience working as an Engineer within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry.
” Will be able to confidently work in line with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety.
” Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
” Able to organise work load efficiently.
” Confident using PDA / Tablet system.

The Role:
” Carrying out Cleans and disinfections on both hot and cold water systems.
” Closed system sampling and dosing with required chemicals
” Carrying out TMV servicing / repairs / replacements.
” Showerhead descales.
” Carrying out Water sampling and Temperature monitoring.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed reports and ensure onsite logbooks are kept up to date.
” Providing continuous technical support to clients, maintaining a professional relationship.
