Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Maidstone, Kent.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer

Profile: Long standing Water Treatment company in the South East, renowned for their quality approach to services and long standing team members now seeks an ambitious Water Hygiene Engineer. This opportunity would suit an experience candidate, well versed in ACOP L8 guidelines, looking to undertake further technical training. The client works across various blue chip client sites across the South East and London, and can offer scope for further development into BSRIA flushing, system balancing, closed system analysis and analytical testing of steam boilers and cooling towers. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will come from a hands-on Water Hygiene background working for an established company.
” Well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
” Confident in using PDA / Tablet system.

The Role:
” Legionella and TVC sampling of hot and cold water systems.
” Use of a temperature probe to test systems and logging results.
” CWST and cooling tower cleans, disinfections and refurbishments.
” LTHW/ CHW sampling and dosing.
” Mains injections.
” Calorifier endoscopy inspections.
” Showerhead descales.
” TMV Servicing and failsafe’s.
” Flushing on little used outlets.
” Maintaining excellent working knowledge of L8 guidelines and answering technical queries on site.
