Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Bath, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a strong presence in the South West of England. They are now in the market for an enthusiastic Water Hygiene Engineer to join their longstanding team of engineers. Working on Industrial, Commercial, and Facilities Management sites you will be undertaking various water hygiene duties, including but not limited to water sampling, temperature monitoring, calorifier inspections and disinfecting of mains water systems, ensuring work complies with relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Chippenham, Swindon, Warminster, Sailsbury, Shaftesbury, Ilminster, Bridgwater, Minehead, Taunton, Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Weston-Super-Mare, Port Talbot.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene company.
” Will be well versed in relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Confident in using handheld PDA systems and updating onsite logbooks.
” Will always be polite and courteous.
” Excellent communication and organisational skills.

The Role:
” Monthly temperature monitoring.
” Water sampling.
” TMV servicing.
” Showerhead descaling and cleaning.
” CWST inspection, chlorination, and cleaning.
” Carrying out calorifier inspections.
” Disinfections of mains water systems.
” Ensuring onsite logbook are up to date and accurate.
” Complying with relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Liaising with clients, ensuring to maintaining professional relationships.
