Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a national provider of Water Hygiene / Water Treatment services working across Commercial and Industrial sectors. They are now looking to employ a hardworking and enthusiastic Water Hygiene Engineer based in the St Albans / Home Counties area. The successful applicant will be working alongside a dedicated team of engineers, carrying out various L8 compliance duties, completing onsite logbooks, and ensuring client sites are complying with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 legislation.

Consideration will be given to candidates based in the Home Counties and surrounding areas: Hertford, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Aylesbury, Cheshunt, Bishop’s Stortford, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Harlow, Brentwood, Basildon, Maldon, Colchester, Saffron Walden, Braintree, Newmarket, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Cambridge, Huntingdon.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Excellent understanding of L8 monitoring duties.
” Experience working in an engineering role for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Up to date knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 legislation.
” Familiar updating onsite logbooks.
” Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” TMV & failsafe servicing.
” Cleaning and descaling showerheads.
” CWST cleans and chlorinations.
” Carrying out routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
” Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 legislation.
” Updating on site logbooks accurately.
” Liaising with clients professionally.
