Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k+ Training + Benefits

Our client is a UK leading Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy. They are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover Commercial, Social Housing, Healthcare Educational and Manufacturing sites across the Scotland region. You will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene industry, carrying out various L8 compliance duties including closed system sampling, CWST cleans and inspections, and TMV servicing ensuing to work in accordance with ACoP L8 guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: East Kilbride, Hamilton, Coatbridge, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Dumbarton, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Edinburgh, Penicuik, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience carrying out L8 monitoring tasks.
” Strong understanding of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Confident in using onsite logbooks.
” Excellent communication skills, able to interact with clients at all levels.

The Role:
” Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Closed system sampling.
” TMV servicing and failsafes.
” Calorifier blowdown and inspections.
” CWST cleans and inspections.
” Closed system sampling and analysis.
” Carrying out work in line with ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Ensuring to complete onsite logbooks accurate.
” Liaising with clients, providing support and advice where required.
