Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Croydon, South London.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. We have a client who is an industry leading Water Hygiene / Legionella management company based in the South East of England. They are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their established team. Working across Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry and High Security sites, you will be responsible for carrying out various L8 compliance tasks, including but not limited to; water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV testing, and flushing of little used outlets. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong background working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, working hands on as an engineer.
” Will be well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Able to converse with clients and colleagues efficiently.
” Will be familiar with onsite logbooks.
” Able to work well independently.

The Role:
” Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring on High Security, Food & Beverage, Healthcare and Heavy Industry sites.
” TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
” Carrying out cleaning and chlorinating of hot and cold-water systems.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Showerhead clean and descales.
” Closed system sampling and analysis.
” Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
” Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
