Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Exeter, Devon.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £36k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with an independent and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella company. They are now seeking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a portfolio of longstanding clients across the South West. This role would suit a candidate who has experience carrying out L8 compliance duties across Industrial, Commercial, Public, Social Housing and Educational. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong Water Hygiene / Legionella background, working as an engineer for an established company.
” Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / Health & Safety legislations.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to work well as a team and independently.
” Will have good IT skills.

The Role:
” Conducting routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Cleans, disinfections and chlorination of CWSTs.
” TMV servicing and failsafes.
” Calorifier inspections.
” Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
” Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guideline.
” Liaising with clients professionally, ensuing to maintain excellent rapport.
