Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded name within the water management industry known for their outstanding provision of water hygiene disciplines to a diverse client base. The company is currently recruiting for an experience and hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Bristol area. The successful candidate will have a background in water hygiene with experience carrying out routine duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring and tank cleans Applications from Chippenham, Bath, Stroud, Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Applicants must come from a strong water hygiene background.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
Proficient IT skills including competency using the Microsoft Office Package.
Experience working in this role within the water hygiene sector.

Postholder responsibilities:

Monitoring and carrying out temperature checks and inspection of hot and cold water tanks, etc.
Conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems.
Undertaking descaling, disinfection and flushing of shower heads.
Carrying out TMV servicing as required.
Maintenance of paperwork regarding works carried out.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.

Overall, the successful postholder will demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and will contribute their valuable knowledge and experience working in the water hygiene sector to this role.
