Job Description

Due to a recent increase in workload this water hygiene/water treatment company specialising in legionella and water treatment disciplines is now seeking an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer to work for them in and around the London area. Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold systems, undertaking routine sampling and analysing water systems, and TMV servicing. Applications from Dartford, Ashford, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Applicants will have a good educational and water treatment background.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Package.
Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer.

Key Role:

Monitoring and carrying out temperature checks and inspection of hot and cold water tanks, etc.
Conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, including storage tanks, calorifiers and cooling towers etc.
Descaling, disinfection, flushing and maintenance of shower heads.
TMV servicing, repair and replacement.
Maintaining a professional relationship with clients.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Work on air handling units.
