Job Description

Due to an expanding workload, this well-established water treatment/water hygiene company is now looking for a competent, experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover numerous contracts in the north of Scotland. Applications from Perth, Fife, Stirling and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will come from a good educational, chemical, technical and water background.
Ideally will hold a relevant City and Guilds qualification.
Experience of working within this role and in the water treatment industry.
Must have a good knowledge of the Health & Safety issues governing the water treatment industry.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers, etc.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with large portfolio of clients.
To carry out tank cleans/disinfections, TMV checks, monitoring, sampling and remediation works.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be flexible and have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
