Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber.
Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who specialise in the delivery of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services across the UK. They are now looking to take on a qualified and hard-working Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to cover the South Coast. You will be carrying out water sampling, temperature monitoring, deadleg removals, rerouting and replacing pipework duties across Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and / or Plumber for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
” Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
” Experience working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Able to work to strict deadlines.
” Good communication skills.
Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out the following L8 compliance duties:
” Water sampling.
” Temperature monitoring.
” TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
” Deadleg removals.
” Attending site to carry out fault-finding and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
” CWST cleans and disinfections.
” Rerouting and replacing of pipework (PVC / Copper)
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Ensuring to update onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
