Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy who work across Industrial and Commercial sites to carry out Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. They are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds and / or NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing. You will have extensive experience carrying out various Plumbing / L8 Monitoring services including water sampling, temperature monitoring, deadleg removals, CWST cleans and disinfections. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
” Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to work to strict deadlines.
The Role:
” Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Deadleg removals.
” Attending site to carry out fault-finding and ensuring any issues are fixed in a timely manner.
” TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
” Showerhead cleans and descales.
” CWST cleans and disinfection.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Removing, replacing, and rerouting of PVC / copper pipework.
” Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Ensuring logbooks are updated upon completion of work.
