A professional and highly respected Water Hygiene / Legionella management outfit with a strong presence in the South West region are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer. Covering Local Authority, Educational, Retail, and Manufacturing sites you will be working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines to carry out water sampling, temperature monitoring, deadleg removals and the replacement, rerouting, and removal of PVC and copper pipe. Experience carrying out closed system sampling, analysis and dosing would be beneficial to the role.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working hands on as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer on Local Authority, Educational, Retail, and Manufacturing sites for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
” Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
” Will have knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” IT literate.
” Good time management skills.
The Role:
” Working on Local Authority, Educational, Retail, and Manufacturing sites, carrying out water sampling & temperature monitoring.
” Showerhead descales.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” TMV servicing, installing & replacing alongside failsafe testing.
” CWST cleans and disinfections.
” Carrying out fault-finding on site.
” Removing, replacing, and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.
” Deadleg removals.
” Closed system sampling, analysis & dosing.
” Updating onsite logbooks correctly.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
