A valuable opportunity has arisen within a successful and national recognised water treatment / legionella company. They are currently recruiting for a commercially motivated, tenacious and experienced Water Treatment Account Manager based in and around the Dublin area. The company are looking for high calibre individuals who will come from a strong chemistry background and be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of industrial water treatment. Extensive experience over-seeing a diverse portfolio of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system accounts and a strong sales background will be essential for this role. Consideration will be given to applications from Trim, Maynooth, Bray, Dunboyne, Kildare and the surrounding areas.

Education, qualifications & experience:

The individual must come from a good educational, management, accounts, sales, and business development background.
A good working knowledge of industrial water treatment industry.
Experience managing a varied portfolio of water treatment and legionella accounts.
Previous experience in a water treatment sales role essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient IT skills, including competency in MS Office.

Duties within the Role:

Managing and developing a portfolio of water treatment and legionella accounts – generating new business as well as maintaining existing accounts.
Incorporating analysis of water treatment processes, ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current legislation.
Working from existing customer base, will secure, manage and develop key accounts – cross selling their services whilst still managing the existing services.
Management of staff and team.
Delivering training seminars as required.
Building and maintaining good working relationship clients.
Attending to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Producing tenders and quotations.
Setting goals and setting out strategies for achieving targets.
Addressing any issues appropriately and effectively.
Attending meetings as and when required.
