Job Description
Due to consistent growth and business requirement, this well established and forward thinking client based company with a large presence in the UK is actively seeking a for a high calibre, enthusiastic and self-driven Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in and around the London area. Undertaking daily tasks such as meeting set targets and developing new business leads, getting involved with training and ensuring safe work practice is complied. Applications from Chelmsford, Ashford, Braintree and the surrounding areas.
The applicant must come from a good education background.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and IT skills.
Must have good organizational, presentation, leadership, supervision, management people, management and client-facing skills.
Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a good educational, water treatment/water hygiene, supervision, accounts, management, Legionella administrative and office background.
Must have hands on experience working as Water Treatment Engineer.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment industry and legislation.
Must have a proven track record working within this role and with the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities will entail:
Developing and opening key accounts whilst still managing existing accounts – cooling towers, steam boilers, closed systems through to remedial works
Managing and running office/contracts.
Managing the Site Chemists, Water Treatment Service Technicians and contractors and allocating jobs as per requirement.
Meeting set targets and developing new business leads.
Attending meetings as and when required.
Getting involved with training, appraisals, etc.
Managing reports and correspondence.
Offering continuous improvement and getting involved with problem solving
Ensuring safe working practice is complied.
Conducting audits – Will be responsible for Quality, Health & Safety.
Dealing with all paperwork, issuing work sheets to the Water Treatment Engineers and ensuring that all work is logged into the Database.
Managing accounts and sales – Have good contacts with key players within the water treatment industry.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators, quotes, etc.
Meeting targets and goals.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
Overseeing planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
Completing paperwork for works carried out appropriately and dealing with issues effectively.
