Job Description

Our client are a leading player within the water treatment/water hygiene industry and due to continued success they are currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Water Treatment Commercial/Operations Manager to work for them in the South East region. Consideration will be given to applications from London, Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

The applicant must come from a strong chemical, technical, people management and accounts background.
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Will be well-versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Previous experience in this or similar role within the water industry essential.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure all works on site and within the office are carried out efficiently.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Collating the profit & loss information including costs and expenditure.
Ensuring profit margins are achieved.
Reporting figures at regular meetings with management.
Planning of site work and allocation of staff.
Identifying training and development for the team.
Conduct staff reviews.
Involvement with recruitment of staff.
To take the lead on key projects.
All jobs to be completed on budget.
Contracts to be completed within timescales set.
Training records to be kept and updated as necessary.
Control of staffing levels so working practices/contracts are not compromised.
Management meetings to be held with staff to update on any issues that may impact on the business.
To take control of any disciplinary issues, including sickness and ensure they are dealt with appropriately.
Ensuring that staff comply with the relevant Health & Safety and company procedures.
