An industry leading Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with a strong South East presence are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer due to continued success and growth. You will be covering Educational, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Retail, and Facilities management sites. The successful candidate will have extensive experience providing high quality L8 compliance services, who is flexible and adaptable in line with company / client needs. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong background in the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Industry, working hands on as an engineer.
” In-depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Good IT skills, familiar with onsite logbooks.
” Able to prioritise work in line with company and client needs.
” Experience / knowledge of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems and chemical dosing plant would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems.
” Ensuring to dose systems with correct chemicals.
” Water sampling.
” Temperature monitoring.
” CWST cleans and chlorination.
” TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
” Showerhead cleans and descale.
” Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
” Aiding the equipment department with the commissioning of water treatment equipment.
” Providing support and training to new employees on site.
” Ensuring work carried out adheres to HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
