Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Engineer

Profile: Our client is a leading name within the Legionella / Water Treatment industry who hold a national presence working on various Commercial and Industrial contracts. After reassessing recruitment needs, they are now seeking to employ a hardworking and diligent Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Reading area. The successful candidate will have experience working hands on within the Water Treatment industry, carrying out cleaning and disinfection on both hot and cold-water systems, working in line with BSRIA guidelines to carry out flushing and chemical cleans on closed systems and routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have hands on experience working for a well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Company, ideally working on Industrial and Commercial sites.
” Will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
” Proficient in using handheld PDA / Tablet systems.
” Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

The Role:
” Covering Industrial and Commercial sites, carrying out cleans and disinfections on both hot and cold-water systems.
” Flushing and chemical clean in line with BSRIA on Closed Systems.
” Undertaking closed system sampling and dosing with required chemicals.
” Routine Water Sampling and Temperature Monitoring.
” Carrying out TMV Servicing, repairs, and replacements.
” Showerhead descales and disinfections.
” Using PDA / Tablet system to produce detailed, up to date reports and keeping onsite logbooks up to date.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
” Liaising with clients, and dealing with any enquiries, providing technical support, and maintaining a professional relationship.
