Job Description

This fast and emerging market player within the water treatment industry currently has an opportunity for a high calibre, focused and committed and multi-skilled Water Treatment Engineer/ Plumber to work for them in and around the London area. Undertaking daily tasks such as chemical dosing, cooling tower disinfection, Installing and some plumbing works. Applications from, Basildon, Ashford, Southend-on-Sea, Dartford and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.

The applicant will have City & Guilds qualification and will have significant demonstrable experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must be fully conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8).

Must have good communication skills, both written.

Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must come from a good technical, chemical, plumbing and educational background.

A track record in servicing Steam Boiler, Cooling Tower and Closed System Accounts and Installation/Plumbing.

Must be fully conversant with current guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out chemical analysis of Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers and Closed Systems

Chemical dosing and cooling tower disinfection.

Installation/Plumbing.

Serving – Water Softeners and Chlorine dioxide Units.

Servicing TMVs.

Cleaning and disinfecting CWSTs and Calorifiers

Water softener servicing

Chlorine dioxide units

Water hygiene monitoring and sampling.

In general, the successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, hard-working, have good ethic, and the aptitude to carry out the work effectively and within time line

Must be flexible with regards to travelling to sites designated by the client, predominately in the South East.
