Job Description

Due to a recent increase in workload this successful water treatment company that provides a full range of water treatment/hygiene services, is now looking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Water Treatment Engineer to work on a variety of contracts in the London area. Applications from Dartford, Ashford, Basildon, Luton and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer.
Good working knowledge of the water hygiene/treatment industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft office package.

Water services risk assessment:

Legionella control and management systems.
Sampling for UKAS accredited analysis
Speciality chemical and technical services
Closed system remediation
Pre Treatment Plant
Dosing and control equipment
Disinfection to the requirements of BS6700 and ACoP L8.
Indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring

Role:

Chemical Analysis of Cooling Tower, Closed Loop Systems and Steam Boilers
Dosing and control equipment
Building and maintaining a good relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Dealing with softeners and dosing units.
Servicing of hot and cold water systems, some routine cleaning and disinfecting work etc.
