Job Description

Our client, one of the top names within the water treatment industry are currently seeking a hard-working and competent Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the London area for a wide variety of contracts. This role includes duties such as installation and maintenance of dosing systems, carrying out plumbing works and monitoring clients air and water systems. Applications from Basildon, Colchester, Dartford, Ashford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must be City & Guilds or NVQ qualified in plumbing.
Experience in plumbing/water treatment role.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
Excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
Monitor the client’s air and water systems ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Installation & maintenance of dosing systems.
Disinfection of main water systems, tank cleans and descales, remedial work and flushing systems.
Build a professional working relationship with clients.
