Job Description

Our client is a an established water treatment company and due current business needs, they are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join their team based in or around the Luton area. They would consider applications from North London, Watford, Hertford, Harlow, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who has ample experience in plumbing/water treatment engineering.
Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene legislation and procedures.
Holding a City and Guilds plumbing qualification
Possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft office package.

Key Tasks:

Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers, acid descales etc.
Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.
A variety of plumbing work including TMVs, servicing, pipework, etc.
Doing Water Tank Installations and varied remedial works.
Completing paperwork for works carried out.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
