Job Description

This company is a well-established and growing water hygiene/treatment company specialising in legionella and water treatment disciplines. They are currently seeking a competent and experienced Water Treatment Engineer in and around the Stoke on Trent area. They will consider applications from Stafford, Crewe, Telford, Derby and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Must have extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
A strong working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
IT Literate.

Role:

Servicing of hot & cold water systems, some routine cleaning and disinfecting work etc.
Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
Carrying out installation and preventative maintenance on chemical dosing systems.
Checking the water quality in softeners and levels of inhibitors in boiler systems.
Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring.
