Job Description
This water treatment/water hygiene company that provides professional water treatment/water hygiene services to client from all levels is actively seeking for an enthusiastic and sell-driven Water Treatment/Water Hygiene Operations Manager in South Wales and will include applications from Caerphilly, Newport and the surrounding areas.
Ideally, the applicant will come from a strong water treatment/water hygiene/legionella, consultancy, management, accounts, operational, office, supervisory, contracts and sales background.
Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry – an in-depth knowledge of the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must have excellent organizational, people management, presentational and client facing, people management skills.
Must good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be IT literate.
Key Role:
Managing and overseeing the company’s water treatment consultants – Engineers, Legionella Assessors, Office Staff.
Allocation and scheduling of jobs.
Overseeing the staff/contractors carrying out the work effectively on site.
Getting involved with training, appraisals, etc.
Keeping accurate reports.
Developing and producing commercial pricing and tender documents.
Producing and implementing method statement, risk assessments – documentations..
Solving problems appropriately and effectively.
Dealing with Health & Safety issues.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis- meeting their requirements.
Achieving targets and goals.
Generating new business leads whilst still manging the company’s existing accounts.
Managing the water treatment consultancy services.
Managing the sub contractors – risk assessments or water monitoring regiments.
Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
