Job Title: Water Treatment Plumber.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry. We are working closely with a leading name within the Water Treatment/ Water Hygiene industry who are now seeking to employ a Water Treatment Plumber to join their Midlands office. The successful candidate will have experience working on Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, Manufacturing and Retail sites. You will be working in line with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety Legislation to carry out deadleg removals, mains injections and installing and rerouting pipework. Due to the nature of the contracts the successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively in line with client needs.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Walsall, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury Stafford, Ludlow, Worcester, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Market Harborough, Leicester, Corby, Loughborough.

Experience & Qualifications:
” (Essential) City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in Plumbing.
” Working as a Plumber for a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company is beneficial to the role.
” Strong knowledge of Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Ideally have good IT skills.,
” Able to organise workload efficiently.
” Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Attending Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, Manufacturing and Retail sites, carrying out fault finding / diagnostics and dealing with any issues efficiently.
” Installing and rerouting PVC and copper pipework.
” Deadleg removals.
” CWST installations.
” TMV Servicing and installations.
” Carrying out mains injections.
” Flushing of little used outlets.
” Expansion vessel servicing and installation.
” Carrying out removal of flexible hoses.
” Installing water heaters.
” Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 and Health and Safety guidelines.
” Checking plumbing work carried out on site and signing off upon completion.
” Ensuring to update onsite logbooks accurately.
” Maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
