Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £28k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a privately owned and independent Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with a strong presence in the Yorkshire / Midlands region. Due to recently winning new contracts they are now looking to recruit a Water Treatment Service Chemist. This role would suit a candidate with a strong background within the Water Treatment industry. You will be taking routine samples from steam boiler, cooling tower and closed systems and using onsite text kits to test water samples prior to dosing with correct chemicals. Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding a chemistry degree / qualification would be beneficial to the role.
” Experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist for an established Water Treatment company.
” Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Excellent time management skills, able to organising own workload in line with company / client needs.
” Good IT skills.

The Role:
” Working on Commercial, Industrial, Food & Beverage and Healthcare sites.
” Undertaking weekly / monthly sampling and analysis of steam boiler, cooling tower and closed systems
” Using onsite test kits to analyse water samples.
” Analysing LTHW / CHW and ensuring to dose with correct chemicals and inhibitors.
” Upselling company services to new and existing clients.
” Liaising with clients to provide excellent technical advice and support on system productivity.
” Carrying out troubleshooting on site.
” Working in accordance with Health & Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Providing clients with quotations.
” Using tablet system to produce detailed reports.
