Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a longstanding and reputable Water Treatment company who have a leading presence in the Yorkshire region. They are now seeking to take on a hardworking and knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist to join their team. You will be working on a portfolio of Manufacturing, Industrial and Commercial sites carrying out analysis of Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers, Closed Loop Systems.

Candidate will have good access to the Yorkshire / Midlands, and surrounding areas: Keighley, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Derby, Matlock, Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Beeston, Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Corby, Coalville, Lichfield, Tamworth, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry.

Experience & Qualifications:

” Experience working as a Service Chemist for an established Water Treatment company.
” In-depth technical and chemical knowledge.
” Able to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues.
” Excellent HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Well versed in knowledge of Water Treatment systems.
” Organising work schedule in line with company and client requirements.

The Role:
” Working on Leisure, Manufacturing, Industrial and Commercial sites
” Sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers with onsite test kits.
” Dosing systems with correct chemicals upon completion of sampling and analysis.
” Providing clients with detailed reports.
” Providing clients with competitive and detailed quotes.
” Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Upselling company services and products.
” Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing technical support and advice.

Alternative Job titles: Legionella Risk Assessor, Risk Assessments, Legionella Consultant, Water Risk Assessor, Lead Risk Assessor, Environmental Consultant.
