Job Title: Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer.
Location: London, Greater London.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We are currently recruiting in the South East for a leading provider of Air Hygiene services. They are now looking to recruit an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience working within an air hygiene / fire damper role, who is looking to join a forward-thinking company with longstanding clients and staff who can provide opportunities for career progression. You will be working on Educational, Retail, High Security, Healthcare, and Government sites ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed time frames and within relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates with good access to London and the M25 area, including: Ilford, Romford, Hornchurch, Erith, Dartford, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Kent, Sidcup, Bromley, Swanley, Orpington, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Redhill, Epsom, Sutton, Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Camberley, Bracknell, Windsor, Reading, Slough, Twickenham, Hounslow.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working as an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer for a reputable company.
” Holding the TR19 and / or Fire Damper Testing certificate would be beneficial to the role.
” In depth knowledge of COSHH / TR19 / BS 9999 guidelines.
” Good IT skills.
” Able to work to strict deadlines.
” Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out inspections, testing, ducting and remedial work on fire dampers.
” Maintaining air handling units (AHU’s).
” Undertaking kitchen extract and ventilation cleans.
” Efficiently disinfecting duct work.
” Producing detailed, site-specific reports based on site findings, ensuring clients receive them in a timely manner.
” Carrying out work in line with relevant COSHH / TR19 / BS 9999 guidelines.
” Providing excellent technical support and advice to clients.
