Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Administrator.
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £30k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a UK leading Asbestos Consultancy who carry out asbestos management services across Leisure, Retail, Educational, and Healthcare sites. They are now looking to take on a keen and hard-working Asbestos Administrator to join their office in the Essex region. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working as an administrator within a busy and fast paced environment, ideally for an asbestos company. Overall, they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with excellent observational skills, and the ability to work to strict deadlines and ensuring systems are up to date, ensuring smooth day to day running of the office.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Benfleet, Stanford-le-Hope, Canvey Island, Rochford, Rayleigh, Wickford, Basildon, Brentwood, Tilbury, Grays.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have extensive experience working in an administrate role, ideally working within the asbestos industry.
” Extensive experience using TEAMS and good IT skills.
” Keen eye for details.
” Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Efficient time management skills.
The Role:
” Ensuring to log all incoming jobs onto internal databases and systems.
” Ensuring that internal diaries are up to date and accurate.
” Raising invoices and purchase orders upon completion of work.
” Closely liaising with clients, confirming work to be carried out.
” Assigning work to site staff upon confirmation of work to be carried out.
” Arranging accommodation for staff when required.
” Ensuring smooth day to day running of the office.
” Finalising reports from site staff, ensuring accuracy prior to sending to clients.
” Ensuring to carry out general day to day duties, e.g., filing / scanning documents, answering / making phone calls, sending / replying to emails.
