Our client is a professional and growing asbestos consultancy who delivers the full range of asbestos services to long-standing clients across the South East. They are currently recruiting for a P403/4 qualified Asbestos Analyst based in and around the Chelmsford area. The successful candidate must hold the P403/4 qualifications; however, all experience levels will be considered, and further training can be provided for the right person. In return, the company can offer local work and an immediate start. Applications from Writtle, Great Baddow, Bromfield, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
The individual must have attained the P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Will ideally have some experience carrying out asbestos air monitoring duties.
Confident in undertaking a wide range of asbestos air monitoring duties to a mixed portfolio of sites.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Will be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
Must have good client facing and organisational skills.

Role Will Encompass:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearance, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Carrying out site audits.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.
Producing comprehensive reports as and when required.

The successful candidate will be of smart disposition, will be flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to multi-task, work independently and carry out the work effectively and within timeline.
