Job Title: Asbestos Bid Manager
Location: Harlow, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £65k +Benefits

Our client is an industry leading and multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who provide various services across Leisure, Healthcare, Educational Retail, and Construction sites. They are now seeking to take on a business minded and hard-working Asbestos Bid Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a Bid Manager, successfully winning bids and will have experience seeing the bid process through from start to finish. You will also be overseeing the company’s successful bid team, providing advice, support and training to maintain the company’s continued success. Experience & Qualifications:
” Proven track record working in a bid management position within the asbestos / construction/ compliance/ legionella industry.
” Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
” Holding an industry relevant qualification would be beneficial to the role.
” Previous experience working hands on within the asbestos industry would be beneficial but not essential.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Able to manage people efficiently.
” Excellent attention to detail.
” Able to manage workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
” Overseeing and ensuring smooth running of the entire bid process from start to finish e.g., bid planning, strategy development, proposal writing, and submission.
” Co-ordinating and preparing high quality bids, ensuring they are competitive and comply with client requirements.
” Efficiently analysing tender documents, identifying client’s key requirements.
” Continuously developing and maintaining comprehensive bid templates.
” Carrying out extensive research to support bid strategies.
” Carefully reviewing and editing bid documents, ensuring consistency and compliance with client specifications.
” Submitting bids in a timely manner.
” Ensuring to track and report back on bid outcomes, taking any feedback on bid submission into consideration for future bids.
” Keeping up to date with changes within the industry, e.g., marker conditions and competitor activities.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Working closely with clients, ensuring to provide excellent support and advice.
