Due to current to current and strategic state of the business, this prominent and fast growing multi-discipline company that provides high quality and professional services to a mixed portfolio of clients is currently seeking the services of a high calibre, enthusiastic and ambitious Asbestos Bid Manager based in the Northampton area and will include applications from Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who has a degree and the right qualifications

Must come from a good educational back-ground, ideally hold a degree would beneficial.

Must have significant experience in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.

Must have good knowledge of the commercial and other sectors.

Must have excellent communication, people management, organisational, presentation and leadership skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the industries involved.

The Purpose of the Role:

Identifying asbestos and legionella consultancy – looking for opportunities within the commercial, public and private sectors.

Preparing and winning bids and at the same time taking responsibility of the bid process – end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the Bid qualification process effectively.

Managing the bid inputs i.e. from stakeholders – sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, legal etc.

Sourcing, collating and getting involved with the PQQ’s.

Working alongside with the technical managers and making sure that the technical and commercial aspects of the tenders are completed with time line.

Liaising with technical managers and identifying new opportunities.

Preparing and reviewing the technical side of the bid and ensuring that the quality side – submission is accurate and presentable and market leading.

Working with regional office – ensuring that the client information is maintained and liaising and ensuring tenders are submitted accurately.

Collating information and communicating with management with regards to feedback received.

Getting involved with sales and development.

Working alongside with the Sales and Managing Directors and making sure that the technical and commercial aspects of the tenders are completed with time line.

Completing the written proposals – preparing management summary.

Delivering compliant and commercial sound bids – understanding and resolving various business issues – technical, etc.

Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients/customers.

Delivering continual improvement with regards to tender documentation.

Maintaining and building a good working rapport with the Marketing Manager and clients.

Dealing with any issues effectively and promptly.
