Job Description

Our client are a leading, highly successful company with a large presence nationwide and they are now hoping to recruit an experienced and competent Asbestos Consultant in the Birmingham area. The successful applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be experienced in providing consultancy advice across a range of asbestos disciplines as well as overseeing site staff. Applications from West Bromwich, Solihull, Tamworth, Stourbridge and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant will come from strong asbestos, technical, training, sales, accounts, operational and consultancy background.
Previous experience working in this or similar role.
Must hold the P402, P403, P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Holding the P401 would be advantageous.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Role:

Supervising Surveyors, Site Analysts, Lab Analysts and office staff.
Ensure the smooth running of the operational side of the business.
Building the business and manage existing accounts.
Training and auditing of staff.
Allocation of work.
Meeting goals and targets.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with new and existing clients.
Supervising site analysts and surveyors carrying out site work as required.
Providing technical reports.
Writing tender specifications and evaluating tenders submitted.
Planning of all work in accordance with current legislation.
Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.
Attending meetings when required.
Undertake a full range of asbestos air monitoring and four-stage clearance works.
