Our client is offering a valuable opportunity to join a highly-acclaimed asbestos company with a large nationwide client base. This company is currently seeking the services of an experienced and multi-skilled Asbestos Consultant / Project Manager based in the London area. The successful applicant will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates and will have excellent hands-on experience carrying out technical asbestos surveys and air monitoring duties to a varied site base. In return the company are offering the opportunity to under-take a spilt site / project management role. Applications from Watford, Slough, Enfield, Twickenham and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates or the RSPH equivalent.
Have experience working in this role within the asbestos industry (e.g. project management, surveying).
Good Working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide variety of properties.
Write and review technical and survey reports effectively.
Planning abatement and survey works in accordance with current legislation.
Manage and supervise Surveyors/Analysts/contractors and office staff.
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to in relation to asbestos.
Liaise with the company’s clients and dealing with any issues appropriately.
